Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson ( born 25 October 1984 in Santa Barbara , California , USA ) , known by his stage name Katy Perry, is an American singer -songwriter and musician . Narodila se v Kalifornii pastorskému páru, vyrůstala na gospelové hudbě a zpívala v kostele.[1] Od církve také dostala svoji první modrou kytaru. Do popředí se dostala díky své písni Ur So Gay z roku 2007 a později díky hitu z roku 2008 I Kissed a Girl.[1] Další hit z alba One of the boys je Hot n Cold. I kissed a girl a Hot n Cold byly tv USA řikrát oceněny jako platinové hity.
